Room Setup
In the best of all world we prefer spaces where half the room has round or rectangular tables and chairs, and approximately half the floor space is open space where people can comfortably move around and sit on the floor (or on a chair if they prefer) in a circle. Note that even though not essential 2-3 breakout rooms are a much appreciated bonus for applied learning practice sessions if the group is large. Having said that if you have restrictions, that's OK and try to follow the guidelines below:
	Set chairs to face the longest wall (i.e, set the room wide, not narrow)
	Seat the audience as close to our speaker as possible with each chair facing him. Allow no more than 10% open chairs.
	Provide a well-lit room. Provide extra lighting over the riser area in the center front of the room where our speaker speaks, if possible.
	Darken the lights that are directly over the screen (i.e., loosen the light bulbs or remove them).
	Set the temperature between 68 and 72 degrees Fahrenheit.

Equipment That's Nice To Have
	3 rectangular tables to display a variety of resource materials
	LCD projector (we'll supply the laptop)
	Remote for advancing PowerPoint slides
	On-site A/V support to troubleshoot before and during the presentation
	Screen (8' or larger; the larger the audience, the larger the screen) on a riser in the right corner of the room from the audience's perspective (DO NOT put the screen in the front center of the room.)
	Wireless lavaliere microphone. For back-up: hand-held microphone with a 50' cord or another wireless lavaliere microphone.
	Please tape all cords on the floor
	Riser (If your group is more than 100 people in size, a riser is usually needed for us to be visible to the audience)

Sebastien Gendry is the director of the American School Of Laughter Yoga, the oldest and biggest provider of Laughter Yoga education in North America. He is one of the most senior figures in the international Laughter Club movement. A passionate and charismatic author and teacher, he is best known for his ability to empower and help people rediscover their creative spark. He has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show, ABC Good Morning America, National Public Radio and more.
